Since the evening of September 29, as a result of the ongoing labor dispute between the International Longshore and Warehouse Union ("ILWU") and the Pacific Maritime Association ("PMA"), all West Coast Terminals have been closed. As a result, the movement of cargo through the West Coast ports has ceased.
Until the terminals reopen, we will be unable to provide transportation services in the affected areas.
We are attempting to mitigate the impact this situation may have on affected shipments, and will provide additional information in due course. In the interim, in accordance with the provisions of our tariffs and service contracts, please accept this letter as notice of force majeure, and our resulting inability to perform.
We look forward to the quick resolution of this labor dispute, and regret any inconvenience it has caused.
