TOKYO – Mitsui O.S.K. Lines Ltd. (MOL President: Kunio Suzuki) today announced that its subsidiary MOL Logistics (Netherlands) B.V. was certified ISO 9001-2000, the International Standards Organization (ISO)’s quality management system on November 9,2003.
The certification covers MOL Logistics (Netherlands) B.V. headquarters in Tilburg and all branches – Rotterdam, Schipol and Eindhoven – in the Netherlands, for packaging, export/import customs clearance, agency operations for refunding of value-added taxes (VAT), warehousing and related operations, and land/sea/air forwarding. The certification authority was Bureau Veritas Quality Inspection (BVQI Head Office : London).
MOL Logistics aims to offer higher quality customer service by establishing a quality assurance system in compliance with ISO 9001-2000.
